Description
Carry this neodymium sea glass wand for a special occasion or hang it on the wall as a nautically blessed decoration! Neodymium is a heavy metal that is added to glass to make it filter light. Neodymium enriched glass may appear purple or rose-colored in natural and incandescent lighting, but it turns shades of blue and grey under fluorescent lighting. These beautiful pieces of softly rounded and frosted neodymium sea glass were found on a beach at the Sea of Japan near the site of an old neodymium production facility. Wrapped in rose gold-filled wire, the glass is complimented by beads of amethyst, fluorite, labradorite, selenite, and Swarovski & Czech crystal beads on a stem of Pacifica Cypress.
